ABOUT WORKING AT ATLAS TAVERN
Hospitality Above All Else
Every tavern, restaurant and bar claims to have a "passion for service" and then proceeds to make dumb day-to-day decisions that ultimately hurt that service. From keeping lazy, unmotivated workers around that make everybody's shift harder, to favorite yet less effective employees getting the best shifts or sections and all of the other bonehead moves that ultimately result in poor service and quality, Atlas strives to be something different. We want the best people, and only the best people to serve, cook for and clean up after our guests. We want a professional environment for our workers where you can be free to be yourself and do everything possible to deliver hospitality above all else. This will result in busier shifts, more tips, more cook and dishwasher bonuses and a top notch restaurant environment.
We also want you to have a good life outside of work. We will do our best to avoid consecutive weekend nights (unless you want them). Schedules for the following week will be posted on Thursdays at the latest so you can plan your time. Part time employees will only work the number of hours they want to so than pursue their outside interests. We will do everything possible to get you your requested time off. We want our restaurant to be a part of your life, not consume it.
We offer paid vacations to both part time and full time employees. We have a health, dental and vision available. If you click on the home button above you can read about all of our other benefits and philosophies.
Service/Bar Staff
Very simply, we want the best service staff in the city. We want energetic, outgoing and personable people handling our guests. Employees that understand that taking top-notch care of every guest will result in busier shifts, no matter the day, and more success for both the server/bartender and the restaurant as a whole. Like we mentioned above, we won't fall into the trap many other restaurants do that result in a less than ideal hospitality environment and the people that put hospitality above all else will thrive along with us
